A mixture of thoughts...

~SARAWAK~

Sarawak is a great place. A place with a rich history, and very unique people and intresting places to visit. But for the past few years now, we can rarely see ang mo people hang out at the riverside or walking around in the city.

Well, obviously this is mainly due to the stupid tourism board we have. The Taxi's are always in the airport!!!!! Like they can earn so much there!!! I bet they all just park there waiting for customers in their little shack talking about yesterdays TOTO and 4D results.Mai ku, the taxi service here is awful..

If i am a tourist, the first time here will be my last. So hard to find a decent taxi. Sad...sad....

PLUS, there isnt a really good maintanence service for some of the tourist hot spots such as the Fort Margherita. I remember last year my bro went there with his girlfriend. They used the little boats to the other river bank. When they reached there, they had to jump over a broken rotten bridge..One wrong move and its into the crocodile's mouth you go!

When they reached the Fort, they found out that it is closed. Well, not exactly closed lah...its just that they just closed the main hall. But you still can visit that place, its just that all you can see is the WALL of the bloody fort. Owh yeah sure it IS open, its just that they close practically ...everything?!?!?!!! Eff them!


Not only that....Have you seen any new items in the National museum? I dont think that there is any since i was a sperm and ovum....They really should have some new display items there...its getting kinda boring...especially after your school brought you there for a field trip 9 BLOODY TIMES!!!......


GOSH man....Sarawak has such a unique history, and the tourism board isnt doing much to utilize it at all... What other place in the world has White Rajahs?.... Sarawak is the only place in the whole of asia to have a white king to rule their land!....


In a book i read, it said that James Brooke actually wanted to be buried in Sarawak, but instead, he was buried in the UK.....


In sejarah, we study that Rentap is the hero of Sarawak, who challenged James Brooke, the invader of Sarawak. HELLO?!?!?!! News flash people! Without James Brooke, we wouldnt even have Sarawak!


If the ang mos know about the history of Sarawak, they will surely come and visit. To see the place a british person ruled as king.


But nooo....our very smart tourism board is too smart to promote our history.... what a smart move.




~EXAM results out on Monday!!!~


The exam results are out, and the results are...ahm....!$!%!$#^#$!......you get the point...

Well, at least im in top 10...not to boast or anything....well actually yeah, i DO mean to boast! =P lol no lah....sheesh...

I found out from this year's form 5, that they took about half a year to get use to the subjects in science side when in form 4, so that means that the first few months of form 4 are the tough times, and after that, i will be able to cope better. Whiewhh!!! I really do hope i can make it.

Man, the report cards will be coming out this monday...I cant wait!

Yesterday i just went to the Spring to take a look at the Big apple shop, and decided to sample a few. It was D-e-e-licious!!! hehe the patterns on the box is like my background! so next time u go there, be sure to remember my blog!

Just look at them...Yeah.. if you have not tried it, youre missing out on a lot! so be sure to try it....Howeverrr(danny style), be ready for the loooooooong que you have to line up in. Dont worry, it only takes about 7 minutes to get in.

Global Warming

Today global warming has indeed become a serious issue. Although we know this, we are not making enough effort to stop it, we are just making it worse. From Malaysia to London, and in fact, all around the world, the effects of global warming is gradually but surely changing the climate which is today heading for the worse. My brother is a Law student in London, and he said that a few days ago it was snowing. F.Y.I, its April and winter isnt another 7 months from now. . . .In fact, when i was in New Zeland in December of '05, which was summer for them, It was actually as cold as winter, and the New Zelanders were even hoping for a white Christmas. HOWEVERRRR(cikgu danny style) you dont have to go that far to see that out climate is getting crazier. Kuching itself is getting warmer and warmer.

Now, almost every classroom in Malaysia have at least one air-cond in addition to the fans to add to the comfort of the classroom. The irony is that we build air-conds to make ourselves cooler, when in fact, we are making the Earth warmer. This will act like a cycle if not stopped and there will be a time when we need 10 air-conds in our rooms. . .For me, i would chose NOT to have air-conds in schools. There was a student that asked me:

Student:Andy, why did you switch off the air-cond so fast?

Andy: Because its almost 3.30(we are supposed to switch it off at this time). .It is 3.25.

Student:Still got 5 more minutes what. . .

Andy: =.=" *goes back to do work*

If everyone thinks like that student, the production of CFC in Malaysia alone will increase 15%. Now, I know many of you would just read this as how you would read some poster about global warming and you wouldnt do anything to help later on. But i just wanted to let you all know that global warming is very devestating. It's just that the big effects are not visible now. But do you really want to be able to see the big effects?

Please don't just treat this as just some stupid post that doesn't seem to be funny and later on forget about what I have said. The fact is that this issue is truly saddening and I have been thinking of it for many days now, and I just wanted to let out what i have been thinking, and make them thoughts in your own head, so that you can see what i see. I hope that i have made you all think more about global warming.

I have a small fan and an air-cond in my room, and in fact, i used my fan when i studied for last week's exam. I'm not asking you to stop using air-conds, but to switch it off when not necessary. I think that they are not necessary in classrooms.Children should be made aware of global warming, NOT grow up in a life where air-conds are a necessity.

Soon, we would greet each other by saying ''hydroiodic acid'', which has HI as its formula, and say ,''can you pass the sodium chloride?'', which is the scientific name for table salt. And we would scold each other with this:

Carbon Iodide(CI)+Barium Iodide(BaI) --> CIBaI

~Little PEPPER~

Yes, remember Pepper? haha well he is 8 months old now. I first bought him back in November when he was just a small little furball in Jay's petshop in Jalan Sekama. I just LOOOOVVVEE dogs. Its the way they make you love them that attracts me most. They become your bestfriend, and your family. When you're down, or lonely, a dog can definitely cheer you up.....i cant imagine how life would be like if i had not walked into Jay's that day...

He studies with me in my room as well! However, he is just lazy and wont answer my questions about Physics when i test him.

Well actually Pepper sleeps in my room too! And he sleeps a lot.

~EXAM~

Form 4 is such a big gap from form 3. Ecpecially in science side. Our school is crazy! This time, there is NO time for you to dream and look around, what more to say sleep! If you even stretch, you wont have time to finish your chemistry paper. Even if you blink, you will have a smaller chance to be able to check the answers....LOL well maybe it isnt THAT dramatic, but still...Its a big change in standard. I cant wait to see what my results are like...I hope they are good(DUHH!)...
