PCK lai liau!

The Phua Has Landed...I Repeat...The Phua Has Landed...

The famous Phua Chu Khang, Singapore's funnyman came to visit our humble city just a few days a go. He made an entrance to the Spring, with a huge crowd waiting for him by the small stage that was set up, with a lot of posters of the man himself, along with many 'Uniquely Singapore' posters to promote Singapore for tourism.

This Indian-Chinese entertainer was assigned the job as the Singapore Tourism's ambassador. Thus, in the performance in Spring that day, he also talked about Singapore's new tourism plans and programmes...

Being in his presence was an experience that can only be felt if you are there. It's hard to describe, but lets just put it this way. You see him on TV doing all those funny stuff, and even singing the SARS song in you tube, and when you really see him in real life, its a whole new feeling. I know you might be thinking-DUH!!!....But...i dunno....its just different! =P

Here's a group photo taken of PCK and some people called up to compete to see who was the best 'fake PCK'...TOO BAD THEY DIDNT CALL ME UP HO? SURE WIN ONE!!! cheeeh...hehe =P

Looking up on the second level, you can see many Lodgians as well... I spotted Yu Yang the samurai...(the stupid guy in orange carrying a plastic bag from MPH)

And a guy that f***ing looks like Alexander Luk of 4C....... I hate people that looks like Alex!!! =P
Then there was one time where PCK was to pick someone from the crowd to answer some questions. He looked around, and THEN, he was looking directly at ME!!! My palm starts to sweat, my heart beats fast, my body made some bowel noises.......THEN, Phua Chu Khang, MY IDOL, Pointed his arm towards me,........ and picked the stupid ass guy in front of me..... F***!

The 45 minute performance ended with PCK singing a song called 'Mandy' by Westlife.....

Everyone was like.. OMG he can sing??

Believe it or not, Phua Chu Khang can sing...And very nicely indeed!...

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I was expecting him to be funnier, but what the heck! Good enough for me..... From a small guy you see in your TV screen, to a real life man in front or your eyes.. He was so close, i could spit at him! ...NICE!

Tastes Of Kuching
The people of Kuching are really passionate about food. This can be seen with all the food that we have here. . . . There's nothing like sitting in the hawker stall eating a bowl of Laksa on a Sunday morning, or having a plate of rojak with your friends... When it comes to food, the people of Kuching sure know how to enjoy...
Like Phua Chu Khang once said, ''We dont eat to live, we live to eat''....
Ahh the famous Kolo Mee...There's nothing like it anywhere else... When eating kolo mee, you will see the advantages of being Chinese =P... I love pork!!! (No offence to Non-chinese =P)
MMM...Tha Sarawak Laksa..Best in the whole of Malaysia... way better than the ciplak Penang Laksa.... Our laksa is the best, but a lot of west Malaysians prefer Penang Laksa...Dunno why...Dont even have meat.....
The smell of Char siew pau...yeah...i LOVE pork! I love Pork a looooooot! I cant imagine life without Pork! <3

UUUUHHHH!!! Yum Yum...Belachan Bee hoon is nice.... my grandma likes it too..seriously...
Practically the cousin of belachan bee hoon, the KangKong Sotong really gives a nice kick in the ***

Ice Ice Baby...teng teteng teng teteng teng teng... A crowd favourite, Ice kacang is sure to tangle your taste buds, and cool you down on a hot afternoon..

~Lodge Annual General Meeting~
The AGM has arrived, and all parents will have their say in electing new members for the committee. The school board will also be discussing issues regarding the school.
Do you seriously think that the committee is doing a good enough job?Just look at our toilets. Just look at our broken door knobs.
Is this how you want our school to be like??? Guys, this is Lodge we are talking about. I think we deserve better than this...
Well, i might know what we can do. There's this man, who i think is capable of doing wonders. He is a man of moral and discipline. A hardworking and responsible man always looking for ways to improve and achieve better results. Born a leader, i think that this man can help our school to be a better place.
Who is this man? Well, its none other than Mr. George Lo. Also my friends, dad, he is a great guy to hang out with.
So guys, if you are willing to make a change for our school, please ask your parents to vote for Mr. George Lo as Secretary.
Thank you belly the much...
